Veterans Day Commemoration
To honor those who have served in the military, members of the Shoreham Wading River Garden Club displays flags in the historic district of Wading River along Sound Avenue, across from the Duck Pond.

Toy Drive
Donations of toys by members of the Shoreham Wading River Garden Club are collected each year by Donna Terrill, Chair of our Community Outreach Committee.
All toys go to the Eastern Farm Workers Association at 58 Beaver Dam Road, Bellport, NY 11713

AHRC Suffolk Day Habilitation Project

May & June, 2024 – The process of trimming, weeding, and planting the existing Sensory Garden was culminated in a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on June 20, 2024.
2025 – Volunteers from the Shoreham Wading River Garden Club are working for the second year in a row to revive the Sensory Garden at the AHRC site.
The garden is designed to be an experience of the senses – sight, touch, sound, and smell.
Plant Sale
This year’s sale was another huge success!
The annual sale is held at Judy’s house in Wading River. Members contributed cuttings of all sizes and species.
Community members from Shoreham, Wading River, and beyond stopped in to purchase plants.
